Kaltenhof is a small village on the island Poel. Formerly only few streets led through the place. One still recognizes these streets today. In Kaltenhof many things changed in the last years, however. Many new holiday houses and vacation apartments were built. The part of the village with the old streets is designated today as "a Gaul village" by the locals. An old brick street leads through "Gallien". The Beach of the Black Bush and the center of the island Kirchdorf, are to be reached from Kaltenhof well on foot.
