Fact is the English bombers and fighter planes on 3rd May 1945 an attack on the ships being anchored in the Luebecker bay flew. The prisoners on the ships still waved to their supposed liberators in the airplanes but the attack ran and after few minutes the Cap Arkona hit by bombs sank. Most prisoners sank with it, few the through a jump into the icy-cold water of the Baltic Sea became bombarded by fighter planes of the Royal Airforce keeping on attacking. After that the British Airplanes were racked dove the German navy on and kept on bombarding the prisoners fighting for their life in the water. Not few prisoners the it on land created murdered by here hurried SS guard teams there.
